  • phone number;
  • website or social links;
  • business logo and images.

Promotion information:

  • promotion titles;
  • descriptions;
  • images;
  • availability;
  • expiry dates;
  • redemption rules;
  • claim and redemption activity.

Billing and payment information:

  • payment status;
  • transaction identifiers;
  • billing details;
  • payment provider records.

Staff and admin activity:

  • staff invitations;
  • staff roles;
  • account actions;
  • redemption validation activity;
  • dashboard activity.

Technical information:

  • device type;
  • browser type;
  • IP address;
  • log data;
  • security and fraud prevention signals.

Support information:

  • messages you send us;
  • information needed to help with account, billing, or promotion issues.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • create and manage business accounts;
  • publish and display business profiles and promotions;
  • process claims and redemptions;
  • manage billing and payments;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse;
  • provide support;
  • improve Spotterly;
  • measure platform performance;
  • comply with legal obligations.

3. Public business information

Information you publish as part of your business profile or promotion may be visible to consumers and other users of Spotterly. This may include:

  • business name;
  • location or service area;
  • promotion content;
  • images;
  • offer conditions;
  • public contact details.

4. Service providers

We may use trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, email, image services, AI-assisted features, security, support, and similar operations.

If you use AI-assisted or image suggestion features, relevant prompts, business details, or search terms may be processed by service providers to generate suggestions. Do not include sensitive personal information in prompts or promotion drafts.

5. Consumer redemption information

Spotterly may provide limited consumer information to your business so you can verify and honour offers. You must use this information only for redemption, customer service, fraud prevention, or legally permitted purposes.

6. Legal and safety reasons

We may disclose information if required by law or if we believe it is necessary to protect consumers, businesses, Spotterly, or the public from fraud, security threats, or harm.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Spotterly may use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, improve performance, measure usage, and protect the service.

Strictly necessary cookies are required for the service to work. In addition, Spotterly uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregated traffic and usage. Analytics cookies are optional: they are only set after you explicitly accept them, and the Google Analytics tag is not loaded at all until you do. We do not use Google Analytics for advertising or personalized advertising, and we do not send your name, email address, phone number, postal address, precise location, or account identifiers to Google Analytics.

You can refuse analytics cookies at any time, and you can withdraw or change your choice later using the “Cookie settings” link available in the Spotterly footer and in your settings.

8. Your choices and rights

You may:

  • update business account information;
  • edit public business profile details;
  • request access to personal information linked to your account;
  • request correction of inaccurate information;
  • request deletion of your account, subject to legal, billing, security, or dispute retention needs.

9. Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including business account management, billing, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute handling, and platform security.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No online service is perfectly secure, but we work to reduce risks.

11. International processing

Some service providers may process or store information outside your province or country. When this happens, information may be subject to the laws of that location.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are important, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
